As someone who strives to make more ethically conscious choices, Charlotte Rhys and their ethos really caught my attention. Their passion for both luxury and sustainability intrigued me, as my top priority has always been finding products that are good for both myself and the environment. Therefore I was delighted to receive a package from them. I was kindly sent the CR Men’s Gift Set and the Hand and Body Lotion.

The CR Men’s Gift Set contains the Eau de Portugal (100ml), the Hair and Body Wash (200ml) and the De-Stress Aftershave Balm (200ml), and comes neatly presented in a sleek, black and white box, which perfectly emulates the sophisticated feel of the brand.  With top notes of nutmeg, baie rose, and grapefruit, followed by lavender, geranium, and black pepper at the heart, and cedarwood, benzoin, vetiver, and patchouli at the base, the Eau de Portugal can only be described as rich and enigmatic with a light crisp touch. Not only does this fragrance last all day and all night, but I also receive compliments every time I wear it. It has quickly become one of my signature scents! The Hair and Body Wash comes in Charlotte Rhys’ traditional No.17 scent, which includes top notes of yuzu, bergamot, lemon and tarragon, along with Lily of the Valley, nutmeg, and water lily. The product has a light gel formula that has been infused with natural ingredients. In addition to leaving my skin and hair feeling thoroughly cleansed and conditioned, I also feel refreshed and ready to face the day after using this. The De-Stress Aftershave Balm, which has the same clean, fresh, and zesty aroma as the Hair and Body Wash, has completely transformed my post-shave experience since it not only reduces irritation and rebalances my skin, but also leaves behind an exhilarating scent that lasts all day. All in all, not only would this set make an ideal gift for a loved one, but it would also make a fantastic gift for yourself if you’re seeking to restock some bathroom staples or simply wanting to try out a few different Charlotte Rhys products.

As if that wasn’t enough, I was also sent the Hand and Body Lotion in the iconic Pure Charcoal fragrance, which fuses notes of citrus and peppercorns with patchouli and tonka, while amber and vetiver fill out its base. Moisturising has always been an important step in my skincare routine as it promotes nourished and soft skin. This product not only smooths, tones, and moisturises my skin, but it also keeps it soft, supple and smelling great. The cream is very light and does not leave the skin feeling greasy, and the integrated pump mechanism is also lockable, making it easy to transport.

Overall, I would highly recommend Charlotte Rhys and the vast range of products they have to offer. Their passion for both luxury and sustainability is inspiring and I truly cannot wait to integrate more of their products into my everyday life.
