The Franklin hotel Knightsbridge is located in the heart of Kensington amongst a row of gorgeous Victorian townhouses. It is surrounded by the stunning Egerton Gardens and just a stone’s throw away from the famous Victoria and Albert Museum.
When I arrived at this hotel, I was greeted by extremely friendly staff both at the door and at check-in. The professionalism of the staff added to the absolute luxury of the hotel.
The decor was a real treat for the eyes and the attention to detail really showed off the luxurious Italian styling.

I was shown to one of the 35 rooms and suites, which I found to be exquisitely furnished for total comfort. As with most of my trips, I needed Wi-Fi to attend to some business and, of course, in a place such as this, it was not only free in my room, but also throughout the whole hotel.

After dropping my bags in my room, I headed to  dinner at The Franklin Restaurant, which is onsite. It is run by Michelin-starred Chef, Alfredo Russo, and is one of London’s top restaurants. The food was nothing short of exquisite, all cooked and served with the utmost care, I can see why it is currently at the top of the Capital’s restaurant list.

Before checking out of the hotel, I found some time to visit the Hammam and spa, which did not disappoint. The Hammam, in particular, was very relaxing with stunning decor. I could have stayed there for ages!

I was so wowed by the Knightsbridge venue, I would love to visit another one somewhere in Europe, maybe for my next trip in December!
