When my Apothecary87 parcel arrived I was very excited, I could tell from the packaging I was going to love these products!

The grey, white and black packaging really appeals to me, the imagery and logo really appeals to my love of all things typically british, with the gentary feel and a vintage look.

The Vanilla and Sandlewood candle was just what I needed to get me in the mood for a night of male grooming! I popped the lovely soft cotton towel which came with my products around my shoulders and imagined I was in a posh salon in the middle of Bond Street! It was the perfect touch! 

There was an unbelievable choice of beard products which I loved. I don’t always use a shaving cream as well as a shaving oil as I haven’t always got the time, but I made time today to really pamper myself, plus the scent of this one really lured me in!

Both products went onto my skin amazingly and left it feeling super soft and smooth making me wonder…should I always use this combination to achieve the best possible results. 

I usually use a beard balm on a daily basis to keep my beard looking and feeling healthy. The wooden comb was also a great touch, a lot of people use a plastic one but a wooden comb really is the best to smooth cuticles and keep your beard manageable and looking its best. 

Moving onto the hair products, I often use a salt pray once I have dried my hair but this Salt tonic is perfect when used on wet hair before a blow dry to get a great hold and maximum body. 

The Pomade and Matt Paste were both easy to apply and left my hair in place and looking great but…the marshmallow scent of the Matt paste meant it was a clear winner for me.
