Belsire is a brand that focuses on what they call the ‘modern gentlemen’. Their shoes are handmade in Italy and definitely have stand-out quality. I was sent a pair of Ascanio – black deer. The first thing I thought when I opened the box was, “Wow, what a gorgeous pair of shoes.’’ The aroma of fresh hand-buffed deer leather smelt great. 

They are extremely soft and comfortable. Unlike some of the other shoes in this style, they do not need to be ‘worn in’. In fact, they feel comfortable right from the start. It is almost like they are moulded to your feet, fitting you perfectly. I wore them to a wedding and found them comfortable the whole day, even though I was on my feet for nearly 12 hours. 

These shoes are quite versatile, so you can wear them to formal events as well as casual ones. I could pair them with jeans and a shirt for a casual night out with friends. The quality of these shoes means you won’t be replacing them anytime soon, so they are worth every penny.
