With the picturesque Palais Garnier Opera House and the Louvre both just a ten minute walk away, the stylish Hotel Square Louvois is perfectly situated in the heart of beautiful Paris. Not forgetting to mention the array of elegant shops nearby, you can’t fail to enjoy this stunning hotels great location. It’s amazing underground pool and relaxation area is a delightful bonus that is unusual for many hotels in central Paris and completely unexpected.
The décor of this hotel is typically very French, and captures beautiful elements of true French character throughout. With its stunning dark Hungarian parquet in the lobby, and vintage chrome stove in the breakfast area, I knew I was going to enjoy my time here from the moment I entered the hotel, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
Each room features a black-and-white portrait of a French literary icon, which is a very nice feature. Although the hotel is small, the friendly staff were very welcoming and ensured that my stay was stress-free and enjoyable. Use of a free pool, spa and fitness centre, as well as Wi-Fi, are all included with your stay. What more could you ask for?
The look of the hotel is both striking and contemporary. There are some attractive period features too, such as wall mouldings and exposed wooden beams. The rooms are petite, but the space provided is used to maximum potential. The bed was extremely comfortable, and after spending my days walking the gorgeous streets of Paris, meant I was well rested by the next morning before another of exploring this enchanting city. There are also very handy plugs and USB sockets conveniently placed around the room, which proved extremely convenient throughout my stay.
The breakfast was the best part of the day for me, as I thoroughly enjoyed the great selection of cereals, breads and hams, as well as the restaurant’s friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend that you try the amazing croissants!
Without a doubt, this hotel is definitely a place I will look to stay again, and although my stay was only short and sweet, I was treated very well and I look forward to being welcomed back on my return to Paris next year.
