Well what a treat to receive the beautiful RADO Captain Cook Automatic watch this morning.
I was wowed as soon as I opened the box, I love the stainless steel case and bezel set against the suede strap – pure genius. There are so many great features to this watch it is hard to choose my favourite. The light colour of the soft leather strap complements the style of the watch however the straps are interchangeable if you ever fancy a change of style you can add a stainless steel strap or opt for a different colour leather.
The face has a date display which personally is something I always look for when buying a watch, it is great when I’m out and about with work to quickly check the date. Rado state that the “Captain Cook is a watch designed to stand the test of time” and I couldn’t agree more. It screams luxury but the strap brings it back down to earth as a wearable daytime watch.
RADO was created as a brand in 1957 off the back of a small family run company called Schlup & Co which originated in Switzerland in 1917. By 1959 RADO had an international presence in 61 countries worldwide. RADO watches have become somewhat icons of quality and sophistication, durable with a modern feel to them.
I am loving wearing this timeless masterpiece and showing off the durability of the brand.
