Twenty Nevern Square Hotel

Twenty Nevern Square Hotel

Let’s face it, we all love an affordable price tag – and we also love designer clothing! And for this Brand Alley website is a fantastic place to visit. This dreamy online store allows you to buy designer clothing and homewares without breaking the purse strings, stocking brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Molton Brown. Check out their brand directory.

Twenty Nevern Square Hotel is located in Kensington, near Earls court. The area is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. I walked from Earls Court tube station to the hotel, which was only a 3-minute stroll. The Natural History Museum, The Royal Albert Hall and Science museums are also all within easy walking distance.

This is one of the only bed and breakfasts that has been approved by Condé Nast Johansens, and I can see why! I got to stay in the Pasha suite, which was absolutely stunning. With its 26 square metres of wooden floors and gold silk curtains that frame the balcony windows, it has a sumptuous feeling of elegance.

The private terrace overlooks the gardens of Nevern Square and proved the perfect place to relax. The bathroom was luxurious, with his and hers basins and a separate bath and shower. There were also exclusive complimentary toiletries, which was a lovely touch.

One of the highlights of the room was the comfy king size four-poster bed. I had such an amazing night’s sleep! A safe was provided to keep my belongings in, which is always something I always want when I am staying away from home. There is free Wi-Fi available at the hotel, which enabled me to check up on my emails.

The breakfast was a continental style buffet, with an array of eggs, meats, cheeses, toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and croissants, which is my favourite type of breakfast. There was such a good selection of things to choose from, all of them delicious, and I could wash everything down with a classic British cup of tea. It was served in the bright conservatory, a perfect way to start your day.

If, however, you wish to venture off-site, there are plenty of places to eat within a few minutes’ walk. If you prefer to make your own breakfast and enjoy it in the comfort of your room, there is a 24-hour Tesco about 2 blocks away.

One of the things that made this hotel different from all of the others, and something that I have not seen before, was the offer of complimentary morning newspapers. I enjoyed reading them with a nice cup of coffee.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, as all the staff were so friendly with nothing too much trouble for them. I will definitely be coming back for another visit in the future.
