Gruum has had an inspiring start to its business life, 4 friends decided to quit their jobs and invest their savings into something they believe in. They have created a brand that does not divide between mens and womens toiletries and shave products, it simply groups them all together as affordable, vegan friendly and gorgeous products. Their packaging is simple and most importantly all recyclable, something we should all be mindful of.

Of course, with knowledge of all of the above, I could not wait to receive my parcel. I was sent the Ultimate shave kit. Included in the kit is, 1 x Razor handle, 4 x 5-blade + trimmer, 1 x Everyday cleanser, 1 x Exfoliating face wash, 1 x Facial tonic, 1 x Daily moisturiser, 1 x Blade cover which all comes in a drawstring Wash bag.

I have to start by mentioning the personalised razor. The handle had my initials printed on it, which was a lovely surprise. I started by using the everyday cleanser, made with aloe vera and lavender. My skin felt soothed, hydrated and deep cleaned with the finishing smell of lavender that was left on my skin. Next I used the exfoliating face wash, created using a combination of Witch hazel, Aloe Vera, Orange and Eucalyptus. The tiny exfoliating beads within the face wash also works to keep skin free from blackheads but soft and oil free at the same time. Both products are designed to be kind to skin and can be used everyday. They will definitely now be part of my daily skin routine. After having a shave with my personalised razor I used the facial tonic, this really does do what it says on the tin. With its Chamomile and Rosemary Oil I instantly felt the positive soothing effects that it had on my skin. I also found that after using it for a few days that my complexion looked more refreshed and my skin felt less irritated

I used the daily moisturiser as a replacement for my usual moisturiser, I can safely say that I am now converted. It is so light and it easily absorbed into my skin, I also love the cedarwood scent. With the prices being so reasonable and affordable I will definitely be replacing all of these products when I run out.
